The Music Committee 
Our Structure

Our work for the 2003-2004 Church Year is organized around eight “tasks,” which were identified in our July meeting. Each Committee member has taken on the management of one of these tasks. Although all other Committee members lend support, each Task Manager is in a lead position in his or her area of special responsibility.

 The eight tasks and task managers are:

These eight tasks were developed as an enhancement to last year’s work on establishing a "Vision Statement" and general goals for the Music Ministry. Our Vision Statement (click here to view) is consistent with the vision of Byfield Parish Church, but with a narrower focus on music ministries. Our “tasks” are our goals for the current year. We believe with baseball legend Yogi Berra, that if you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up somewhere else.
