Discussion: We have been asked to consider having the show go on the road next Christmas season.

Bob let us know that the performers all enjoyed the challenge of learning the music and would like us to consider offering this performance next Christmas Season to other UCC Churches. “BPC’s Gift to the Communities”

Possibility of this becoming a “Whole Church Mission” getting the majority of our members involved with this. The praise band would bring the message through music, and the rest of the members would attend the performances and fellowship with the others that attend.

Bob got our unanimous approval to move forward with this idea, and discuss the possibility of this with our UCC Committee to help find Churches that would be interested.

Conclusions: Bob will keep us informed on how this is progressing.

Discussion: We need to review and update the Music Ministries portion of the BPC Web Site

We reviewed and edited the Music Ministry Section of the web site.

Conclusions: All changes have been noted; Greg will send all changes to Ann Watson and cc them to the Music Committee for their review and comments.

Bill Richards will review Essays/Book Reviews section and forward any changes by next months meeting

Discussion: Bob would like us to think about how to address new members to the Praise Band if positions are not available.

Some thoughts were:

·         Possibility of multiple groups on a rotating basis?

·         Alternate certain positions if appropriate?

·         Waiting list and able to practice with the band?

Conclusions: Everyone think about this and bring your ideas to next months meeting.
