Child Safety
and a Note to Families
Child Safety
Our desire at BPC is to draw people to Jesus. This includes
even the youngest children who attend our church. We view
ourselves as partners with parents, seeking to provide
quality care and instruction for children. We take this
responsibility seriously. To this end we have developed a
Child Safety Policy, an application process, and defined
qualifications for anyone working with children or youth in
the church.
A Note To Families
To
strengthen and mature families in their Christian walk, we
encourage the following:
·
Children attend Sunday School so that they might know God
better and learn that they are part of a church family who
loves them and cares about them.
·
Adults attend Sunday School and/or a Small Group or Bible
Study so that they might grow in their faith and be a bolder
witness to the next generation.
·
Families worship together during worship service and sit
together as a family so that children might participate with
their parents and come to understand what worship is all
about.
·
Extended family, neighbors, and friends be frequently
invited to worship services and Sunday School classes and
received by the entire church family with warmth.
·
Family members have a daily devotional time together at
home and carefully consider their reading and entertainment
choices. The church Library is a resource for family
devotional material.
