All the goodness of God, Friends, can only come to you through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. You see, it is only through Jesus that we can even go to God because Jesus was the only One Who was without sin and He paid the price for our wrong. Jesus is the only “gateway” back to unity with God. There is so much more that we wish to tell about Jesus and there is so much joy in sharing this good news. If what we have told you has helped to spur on a desire in your heart for union with God, hear the Words of Jesus now and accept them in your heart as Truth:

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (The Bible, Matthew 11:28,29)

The Prayer of faith

O Lord Jesus, You have spoken to my heart. I am tired and my soul is not at rest within me. I believe that You are the Living God and that Your sacrifice, Your death on the cross is the one and only means that I, the sinner, can be restored to a right relationship with God. Jesus, I admit that I have sinned against others and even more regrettable I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. I feel the weightiness of my sin. But Lord I understand that You died so that I could live in the liberty and freedom of unity with God through You. So Jesus I come to You now and ask that You forgive me of my sins. Lord, I know that I can never be totally perfect and that I will need You for the rest of my life to help me not to sin against You, but also to come before You when I do and be forgiven. Jesus, I do not want to sin and I know that You can help me. Lord, please show me my sinfulness throughout my days and I, knowing full well that You sit on a throne of grace and mercy, will come to You. Thank you, Jesus, for what You have done for us. Please go with me in life from this day forward because only You can bring joy and peace and thanksgiving into my heart such as only God can give…freely, as a gift. Thank you. It is in Your Name that I pray this prayer of faith in You. Amen.
